Associate Degree in Commerce
Commerce is a subject that has great importance in the modern world. It not only gives knowledge about trade and business but also deals with rapidly changing facades of regional economy. The study of commerce is based on practical issues which gives knowledge about management, operations, geopolitical conditions, and modern trade practices.
Pakistan being a developing country is currently at the forefront of world economic activity due to the historic agreement with China in the form of CPEC. Even at its infancy stage, the economic activity generated so far, has huge prospects as it has drawn interest of almost all other developed as well as developing countries to be part of this mega economic activity. It is not a hidden fact now that CPEC will change the course of history of all economic activities around the world in the years to come.
The past three decades have witnessed a tremendous economic growth in the Southeast Asian countries. With the emergence of China as new economic power in the world, the effects in this region are forecasted to be unlimited. Due to all this regional activity, and its effects on Pakistan, one can safely predict the increasing demand of commerce professionals in the years to come.
University of Central Punjab has once again taken the initiative by launching a whole new commerce program. The new program has been structured with improved curriculum and current topics. The courses have been designed to meet the emerging and specific challenges faced by domestic as well as international businesses. The program will equip the students with the skills to face the emerging economic and geopolitical challenges in the region.
